The Lonely girl

She sat across from me at the table in the Library. Her dark, brown, Asian eyes straining to stay open while she read a big chemistry book.

Hair held back in a sloppy, droopy bun. Dressing in a denim coat, Khaki jeans, and worn out Nike shoes. Her thin, frail, and bony hands turned the hundredth page of the chemistry book.

Every five minutes, her head jerked around distracted by the loud scowls of wild boys. Trying not to laugh at the teenager in the sombrero hat. The lonely girl.

Virginia

Virginia is a very wealthy woman, and when on a bus, she finds an envelope with 1500 dollars in it.

Virginia squeezed into the bus door. Then dropped 5 useless coins into the coin slot. She held her head high and found herself a double seat. Greedily, she used up both seats. She then looked down to loosen her high heels, when she spotted an envelope on the floor. Her plump sweaty hands quickly snatched it up. She opened the envelope. Inside was money! 1500 bucks! She grinned, revealing her crooked, yellow teeth. Then chuckled to herself, "Finder’s keepers, loser’s weepers!" Next stop, a frantic man rushed into the bus and to the seat next to her. "Have you seen an envelope with money inside?" The conceited woman simply answered "No"

                                           Thating!

I was so glad to get a high paying babysitting job! But I guess the Norton’s were fair. The Norton twins are a splitting pain in the butt! I’m glad they told me to put them to bed as early as 8:00. The Norton twins are so cute and adorable when asleep!

Just then I heard a thump that sent a chill down my spine... Oh my gosh, in order to keep my job and even worse stay alive, I need to see what caused the noise! It happened again, "Thating!" Again, "Thating!" It wouldn’t stop! I traced where it was coming from. The back door. I rushed there with a knife in my right hand and a sharp wire in the left. There it was, the face covered with fur, the creature panted with deep, heavy breaths. The tongue dangled from its mouth. It wanted to get in. Dang dog!

Peace is...

Like the blanket of snow that falls down in the winter

Cool like standing outside on a cool, serene mountaintop

Sounds like flowers blowing ever so gently in the breeze

Tastes like a ripe apple just picked off an apple tree

Smells like recently cooked chicken at a picnic

Looks like the clouds in the sky forming into various shapes

Smooth like vanilla ice cream melting in your mouth on a hot, summer day.

Glides as smoothly as a Bald eagle

Self portrait

My hair is the Midnight in a deep, dark forest

My eyes are the bark on a maple tree

My skin is a unicorn’s hide

My heart is joyful, and is also the mid-day sun

I live in a flower, examining the beauty and magic of nature

Perched on a cloud

Perched on a cloud

Viewing the city with an enlightened eye

Through the foul smells and trash

I see my sanctuary

In everyone, a warm heart
