| Before signing the contract,
make sure the previous tenant and vendors have moved out. |

keys. Remember to replace new
locks after renovation.

furniture and home appliances, make sure they are in good condition and
work well.

Check and record the water,
electric and gas meters for future convenience on the billing
statements.

Double-check the wall,
ceiling and windows for any leakage and clotting in pipes and sewage.

Bring along with you a
camera and make shorts for any defections, in case you find any. Your
lawyer could better assist you to appeal for compensation.
